I am having trouble learning to crochet amigurumi seems my critters never look anything like the picture. Any advice????

   Are you covering all your basics, like hook size and testing your gauging? When I can't make progress on a project it's usually because I'm so excited to start that I don't pay attention to the basic stuff.
