For all you crocheters out there, how to sc into a ch more than once? amigurumi?

I am trying to make an amigurumi but it says you have to sc into your chain six times. I can’t seem to do it. Any pictures, detailed descriptions? Thanks.
How you should follow the directions depends on what you are making. Since you’re working on an amigurumi, I would guess that you’re working on a round object or some kind of hollow shape that is worked in the round or in spirals.
Assuming you’re working in the round or in a spiral, you would work the number of chain stitches (probably a small number like 2 or 3). Then work 6 crochet stitches into the indicated chain. If you’ve worked a chain of two, that means all six stitches will go into the chain farthest from the hook. Work your starting chain relatively loosely to allow all of your stitches to fit smoothly.
This kind of stitching is done to create a ring of stitches to build your work off of. When you’ve got all six stitches into place you will be able to continue with your next round. Be sure to join your rounds correctly if you’re not working in spirals or your stitch count will be off as you go.
If you don’t want to work into a chain, you can try learning the "Magic ring" or "magic circle" technique. This involves making a loop of string, stitching into the loop and then closing the loop down tight to create a ring of stitches. There are plenty of youtube videos and online tutorials for this technique.

I don’t understand why that is so hard to understand. You do a sc into the chain, then you do another sc into the exact same chain and repeat again for a total of six times.
Check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5hKBeu2BlhU though. That video explains exactly what you are asking for.

You are making this a lot harder than it needs to be. The directions are very clear and very simple to avoid confusion.
You haven’t given enough information to know what it is saying. I don’t think it actually says "sc into your chain six times". It does say to sc into your chain… but it will also tell you whether you need to make a chain of how many stitches, and it will tell you whether you make these sc into the same stitch, or into each chain stitch. I can’t tell if you are making something flat, or in a circle. When written out of context like that, it is not clear what you need to do. Check your directions once more… it’s all described there.
