amibuddy.com allows you to design your own amigurumi. I haven’t tried this website yet, but the amigurumis looks very cute.

All the best Amigurumi designers and makers can be found here. If a designer does custom order it is visible on their shop. Their location is listed too. I live in Bangkok, so far away. Just search fro Amigurumi on Etsy.

Man, this is so hard to describe over the internet! Have you ever made rounds before? Most of what you are doing with amigurumi is shaping the body of your creature by making a round, increasing and decreasing to make the different features. It seems like a really wussy way to answer the question, but the truth is that someone who knows how to do it could show you in thirty seconds what I can’t even find a single really good website to try to show you!

This "for dummies" one is the diagram best I can find. It is pretty much how my Mom taught me.

I sincerely hope this helps. I know how frustrating it is to try to figure out things on your own. Every new crocheter really needs a coach to get them started!
